What does the wedding day feel like? That’s the question I want to answer every time I photograph a wedding. I’m after the images that bring the couple right back to those singular, fleeting moments. 

Turning back to wave at the crowd right before taking off in the getaway car. The gaze of friends and family as they listened to a heartfelt toast. The tightest hugs. The inescapable heat of the hottest summer day, and the welcome downpour that sent everyone running into the rain.

I’m in awe of the way Helen and Russ reveled in every aspect of their wedding day, and were so present in all the moments. The friends and family gathered around them, reflecting back the joy and love.
