Meg and Jim’s fall Bucks County wedding was a really special to me. I had photographed Meg’s sister and brother-in-law’s wedding back in 2013 at The Lodge at Mountain Springs Lake Resort in the Poconos. [See Cassie & Matt’s day here.] Meg had designed the graphic details for Cassie and Matt and I remember thinking how cool it would be to photograph Meg’s wedding if I had the chance. Fast forward to several years, and imagine my excitement when I heard Meg’s engagement news!
Meg and Jim wanted a low-key affair where their loved ones could witness their vows in a gorgeous, private, outdoor setting. They selected the Wildflower Preserve at Bowman’s Hill in New Hope, Bucks County, PA for the incredible natural scenery.
An upscale craft cocktail reception (with a fun change to a second dress!) at Hops/Scotch in Doylestown, PA allowed them to invite lots of their friends, but keep things relaxed and fun, in a sophisticated bar atmosphere. I think they pulled it off beautifully, and with loads of style. Cheers, Meg and Jim!
