There’s a distinctive dry and cool quality to the breeze today that’s got me anxious for the fall days ahead. We have a couple weeks of summer left though, so I want to share the beautiful The Lodge at Mountain Springs Lake Resort wedding photography!

I worked with them to build a timeline that prioritized what mattered most to them: getting ready with closest family and friends, a relaxed ceremony and plenty of time for the couple and wedding party portraits by the lake—not hurried, but relaxed and fun. Liz and Dan’s guests traveled from all over to be there for them. That distance transformed the day. Everyone arrived already in a different headspace—away from the noise, away from work and away from the city rhythm. When guests have invested time and travel to get to a wedding, they show up differently.

They’re more relaxed, they stay longer and they dance all night knowing they’re steps from their cabins.
