I fell in love with Kate the moment we spoke on the phone.
As she described her and her fiancé Tim’s vision for their at home wedding in New Jersey, it felt like the perfect fit. Kate laid out clear priorities for their day: color, forest vibes, friends & family, and a big party with plenty of dance floor energy.
To capture the feeling of the day (the movement of her stunning Monique Lluillier gown! The dancing!) Kate knew she wanted some motion blur and film photography in the mix, which totally matches my wedding photography style. And I have to say, I was really looking forward to their wedding day for months! I was super excited to bring my favorite vintage film cameras for capturing the vibe of the day and the party all night.
The level of trust and creative freedom Kate and Tim gave me were unmatched, and their wedding was huge highlight of my wedding season. I can’t thank them enough for letting me do what felt right to capture their day. It was so much fun!
Do you love the look and feel of film photography at weddings as much as Kate? Drop me a line!
