Engagement sessions are a great way for me to get to know clients, and for them to get comfortable in front of the camera. It’s a nice warm up to the wedding day where we have the time to relax and enjoy the portrait session together in an unchaotic, unrushed setting, and for the couple to get the feel of what it’s like to work with me. The end result is confirmation, for even brides and grooms most certain that they are “unphotogenic”, that they look beautiful and in love in their photos. After the session, the bride and groom have lots of beautiful photos they can use at the reception in everything from unique table number art, to framed photo displays, to guest books.
Katie, Rob and I had the chance to enjoy Tinicum Park in Bucks County, PA on a beautiful October day before their wedding. We had a great time enjoying the leaves at their peak, I got to know more about their life adventures and their upcoming move to Malaysia, and I think you’ll agree they learned to get comfortable in front of the camera. They ordered a custom photo guestbook for their reception, and printed enlargements for their moms for Christmas gifts. Our goal was to make their moms cry with joy when they received their gifts. I heard we succeeded.
