Meg and Jim’s fall Bucks County wedding was a really special to me. You see, I had photographed Meg’s sister and brother-in-law’s wedding back in 2013 at The Lodge at Mountain Springs Lake Resort in the Poconos. [See Cassie & Matt’s day here.] Meg had designed the graphic details for Cassie and Matt and I remember thinking how cool it would be to photograph Meg’s wedding if I ever had the opportunity. So you can imagine how excited I was when Meg got in touch about the plans she and Jim were making!
Meg and Jim wanted a low-key affair where their cherished loved ones could witness their vows in a gorgeous and very private outdoor fall setting. They selected the Wildflower Preserve at Bowman’s Hill in New Hope, Bucks County, PA for the incredible natural scenery.
An upscale craft cocktail reception (with a fun change to a second dress!) at Hops/Scotch in Doylestown, PA allowed them to invite lots of their friends in a relaxed and fun, but elevated atmosphere. I think they pulled it off beautifully, and with loads of style. Cheers, Meg and Jim!
